UMF® Manuka Honey

UMF® Manuka honey has a distinctive flavour and unique antibacterial properties. Dr Peter Molan from Waikato University has shown during his research that UMF® Manuka honey with a rating of 10+ has more antibacterial properties than other honeys. The research found that UMF® 10+ Manuka honey has significant healing properties to when used to treat burns, ulcers and throat and eye infections. It is particularly effective in destroying bacteria associated with peptic ulcers and is an effective wound dressing that assists with the healing process. UMF® Manuka honey can be both taken internally and applied externally.
