Rewarewa

Rewarewa is a lovely honey for everyday use, as are Clover and other varieties. The availability of honey varieties depends on weather and seasonal conditions.

Research by Dr Peter Molan has identified three types of honey as having outstanding hydrogen peroxide activity. These are Penny Royal, Rewarewa and Beech honeydew, which are harvested in significant quanities by New Zealand’s beekeepers.
