Bee pollen is
often called the 'only perfectly complete food'. Pollen is collected by
the bees and is fed to the young bee as a high protein food. Each tiny
granule contains a lot of protein, minerals and vitamins, necessary for
our growth and perfect health.
The major
components of pollen are protein and amino acids, lipids (fats & oils) and
sugars. Amino acids essential to humans (plenylalanine, leucine, valine,
isolucine, arginine, histidine, lysine, methionine, threonine and
trytophan) can be found in pollen. Other components are flavonoids,
vitamins, minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulpher and
sodium. The effects and benefits derived from pollen are many, but here
